Ponce Inlet Light House
Finally went on a sunset cruise down the intercoal waterway near Daytona Beach. We discovered that weekday afternoons/evenings is the best time on the water for just cruising. It is very relaxing and peacful this time of day without a lot of other boat traffic. I've lived in Florida since 1982 and have never seen the Ponce light house at night. My photo does not do it justice. (A moving boat and no light make picture taking difficult.) It was beautiful and the lighting at dusk was spectacular. I was surprised that it still has a functioning light circling around. One of the best parts of the river in this area is, one side of the river is beautiful homes, restaurants and marinas. The other side is all natural and looks like "real Florida". We saw a very large bald eagle swooping down towards the water. It was so big at first I thought it was a pelican. Of course my camera was still in my bag at the time.
I hope to have more pics and pottery updates this weekend.

Isn't that lighthouse just picture perfect; I felt like I was floating down the river along with you. We hope to get to the Atlantic side very soon.
