Hi Paula, Beautiful bowl! Both backgrounds are nice. The black is more elegant, but the white makes the bowl shape easier to see.

Hi Paula, we're practically neighbors aren't we? Your bowl is beautiful, is it reduction fired? I think I like the white background best, but have you ever tried a gray color? I have a graduated background I'm digging out of the packing for finished work photos, but when I take photos of my green ware I use a plain grey because the wet clay messes up the paper. I don't have a photo tent yet, and try to use natural light, I plan to get one soon though.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cindy!
ReplyDeleteLinda, we are pretty close. I think it is about a 2 hour drive for me to go to Crystal River. The bowl was reduction fired from a class that I take once a week. I do electric at home and am still experimenting with mixing my own cone 6 glazes. My tent is new, just got it from e-bay for about $30. Still don't know if I like it yet.
